After it took the number one spot in Taiwan, SHINee is well on its way to doing the same in Japan.
SHINee released its Japanese single album Sherlock on May 16, and Sherlock placed second on Oricon Chart’s Daily Rankings on May 17, a mere day later.
The new single album Sherlock consists of two tracks, a Japanese version of Sherlock and a new song, Keeping Love Again.
Behind SHINee on the charts is Japanese group, AAA, who also released its new single album Still Love You on the same day as SHINee, only adding more credit to SHINee’s name.
During the week of April 20-26, SHINee had ranked number one with Sherlock on Taiwan’s music chart, G-Music Asia Chart, Five Music Korean and Japanese Music Chart, and Kuangnan’s Korean and Japanese Music Chart.
SHINee is currently on its Japanese nationwide arena tour, stopping by in Fukuoka, Hokkaido, Nagoya, as well as seven other cities, with a total of twenty concerts.
